She also read a proclamation recognizing Human Trafficking Awareness Month and announced an event, ‘Movie Night with the Mayor,’ for Jan. 28 at RCE Theaters; the Mayor credited Finance Director Joey Fuqua for lighting the downtown underpass in royal blue to mark the observance.
Councilmember Garry D. Daeke moved approval of the appointments and Councilmember Ola Thorpe-Cooper seconded; the resolution passed unanimously.
