The commission approved a site-plan extension for Life Church Central Campus (SP23-316), originally approved November 2023, with no changes, by a 5-0 vote.
The commission also approved a zoning map amendment (Z25-31) to reclassify a roughly 7,500-square-foot property at 208 East 5th Street from single-family to a two-family district; staff said the change removes a nonconforming use and recommended approval, which the commission granted 5-0 and forwarded to City Council for March 23. Finally, the commission approved the Edenmond Police Department's training facility site plan (SP24-17) for property near Danforth and Midwest — staff described two new buildings totaling about 12,700 square feet combined on 13.6 acres and recommended approval; the commission voted 5-0 to approve.
Throughout the evening staff repeatedly prefaced presentations with "Staff recommends approval," and most items drew no public opposition. Where public comment occurred (Gardenia Apartments) the transcript records negotiated conditions and neighbor support.
