At the Dec. 30 meeting commissioners approved a set of routine administrative actions. The board voted to retain Keller Engineer, Inc. for the 2026 fiscal year; the firm will be formally appointed at the county’s Reorganizational Meeting on Jan. 6, 2026. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the agreement; the motion carried unanimously.
Justin Evans, Per Diem Mapping and Planning Director, presented Planning Commission meeting dates for FY 2026 and the board approved the dates for advertisement in the Fulton County Newspaper. HR Administrator Mary Huston recommended hiring Troy Wagaman as a Per Diem 911 Dispatcher, contingent on required clearances; the commissioners approved the hire. A brief Salary Board met at 9:48 a.m. to set the dispatcher’s salary.
