County adds Mathews Drive to 9-1-1 addressing database; notes it is not a county road

9-1-1 GIS Coordinator Kayse Muratori asked the court to add Mathews Drive (off Grass Draw Road in the Terlingua Ranch Subdivision) to the MSAG/master street addressing guide and the court approved the request.
Muratori told the court that acceptance into the MSAG database is a data-entry and addressing step and does not mean the county will take maintenance responsibility for the roadway. She reported Brewster County was removed from the census testing list, said there is a four- to six-week delay on processing new address requests, and said she planned a quality check of phone carriers and text-to-9-1-1 functionality. The county’s maps are nearing completion and will be printed by voting precinct.
Commissioner Sara Allen Colando moved to add Mathews Drive to the 9-1-1 maps, Commissioner Ruben Ortega seconded, and the court passed the motion 5-0.
