County counsel Donato J. Battista noted that planning boards have particular rules about holdover service and said his office has analyzed the matter; he warned that, in some cases, members could not remain in a holdover capacity. Francesca Giarrantana, the county planning director, said staff would provide an updated list and work to ensure a quorum for the next meeting.
The board carried the item by roll call to allow staff time to present the requested records. Commissioners described the carry as a short delay intended to avoid approving appointments without full information about current membership and attendance.
