Mayor Mark Barlow told the council Civil Southeast, LLC will submit the RAA grant application to the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) to seek funding for improvements to Baldwin Road; the authorization to proceed was formalized by Resolution 2026-01-02, which the council adopted by voice vote. Councilmember Randy Little moved the resolution and Councilmember Bert Taylor seconded.
