Teague also explained an updated purchase order for the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) upgrade, describing the vendor’s IT board as the project’s central control unit. Town staff requested ratification of Purchase Order No. 2025-0031 to Rottweiler Controls, LLC, to reflect additional upgrades. Councilor Jessie Murdock moved to ratify the purchase order; the motion passed 7-0. Town Manager Miranda Fisher said the ratification was needed so payment could proceed and the project remain on schedule.
Separately, CIP Project Manager Martin Smith recommended awarding Bid No. 25-211 for the concrete foundation and slab of a proposed irrigation pump building at the Sports Complex. The council voted to award the $50,208 contract to Ligon Excavation (motion by Councilor Robert Foreman, second by Councilor Brian Bolton), 7-0.
