At the June 2 meeting, Assistant County Attorney Drew DiStanislao told the Planning Commission that the draft Event Venue/Short‑term Rental ordinance is ready and that County Attorney Frank Rennie is reviewing it; a committee meeting will be scheduled after that review.
Clerk Taylor N. Newton urged commissioners to complete FOIA and conflict‑of‑interest training, saying it is recommended (though not a state requirement) and could be helpful given the number of solar applications recently before the commission. The commission announced its next regular meeting for July 7, 2022, and adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
