Board approves relocation of Shanghai voting precinct to Poroporone Baptist Church
Summary

County Administrator Vivian Seay said the registrar proposed relocating only the Shanghai precinct, currently at King and Queen Elementary School, to Poroporone Baptist Church because construction is scheduled at the school.
Chairman R. F. Bailey opened the hearing; there were no public comments during the hearing, and the Board approved an ordinance amendment to move the Shanghai precinct. The ordinance lists the county’s five precincts and their polling places; the change updates the Shanghai polling place to Poroporone Baptist Church, 30071 The Trail, Shacklefords, Virginia.
The motion passed unanimously.
