Fulton County approves replacement dispatch clocks, grant-funded regional support and two-year Hazmat agreement

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 23 approved equipment and service agreements for emergency services, including replacement dispatch clocks and a two-year Hazmat Team contract.
EMA/911 Director Brian Barton told the board that the dispatch clocks in the dispatch center are over two decades old and require replacement. Barton said, "Pre Alert is in place and that the information has been sent out to the fire departments." Commissioner Bunch moved to approve and execute a ComPros quote for two dispatch clocks, including hardware and installation, in the amount of $4,940.00; the motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute the 2026 Mission Critical Partners Regional Support Contract for Professional Services; the meeting record notes the contract is fully grant funded and the motion passed with all in favor. The board also approved a two-year Hazmat Team agreement with McCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc., with payment amounts of $2,500 for FY2026 and $7,500 for FY2027.
No public comment or dissent was recorded during these votes. The contracts and equipment purchases were approved by unanimous voice vote of the commissioners present.
