The contract is a template the Town will use to issue task orders for specific projects and to streamline engagements rather than negotiating separate, full contracts for each firm.
Councilor Jessie Murdock moved and Councilor Robert Foreman seconded that the Town approve the On‑Call Professional Services Contracts and the attached list of consultants. The motion carried 7-0. Town Manager Miranda Fisher, Town Attorney Trish Stuhan and Finance Director Michael Showers answered Council questions during the discussion.
The minutes record that the sample contract will be used as needed; individual task orders and scope-of-work details will be developed when specific projects require consultant services.
