Camp Verde rescinds prior liner award, approves $89,906.29 Western Liner contract for Sports Complex

CIP Manager Martin Smith told the Council that revised irrigation improvement plans for the Sports Complex relocated reclaimed-water storage to a new retention pond to improve efficiency, maintenance and scalability. Smith recommended rescinding a prior $34,300 contract and awarding a new purchase for a pond liner to Western Liner in the amount of $89,906.29.
Councilor Jessie Murdock moved to rescind the previous award and to approve the new purchase; Vice Mayor Wendy Escoffier seconded. The Council voted unanimously 7-0 to rescind the prior award and to award the new purchase order to Western Liner for $89,906.29. Town Manager Miranda Fisher and CIP Manager Smith answered Council questions about the revised design and maintenance benefits.
No amendments to the contract were recorded in the meeting minutes; Council approved the updated purchase amount as presented.
