Kingfisher County commissioners approve right-of-way permit, REAP contracts and routine claims

The Kingfisher County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a right-of-way permit for Select Water Solutions, LLC and REAP contracts for Wittrock RV Park, Wildwood Estates II and Okarche Rural Water District during its March 2, 2026 meeting.

Commissioner Anthony Schwarz moved to approve the right-of-way permit and REAP contracts; motions were seconded and passed with all three commissioners voting yes (Jeff Moss, Mike Sparks, Anthony Schwarz). The clerk recorded that the right-of-way work involves a 4-inch poly pipe route described from SE SW Sec. 36-15-9 to NE NW Sec. 1-14-9 in District 3.

The board also approved the minutes of the Feb. 23, 2026 regular meeting, the March 2 agenda and a list of purchase orders, warrants and payroll covering both FY 2024–25 and FY 2025–26. The minutes list vendor payments across multiple county funds; notable entries include a $83,408 capital outlay purchase to Bob Howard Dodge and a $20,497.80 payment to Jims Welding. Other recorded expenditures include Cummins invoices ($4,500.00 and $633.50), multiple ONG utility payments, and smaller maintenance and equipment purchases across highway, health, sheriff and library funds. The clerk's minutes state that full details of the purchase orders and claims are available in the County Clerk's office.

There were no public comments recorded at the meeting. Under board announcements, commissioners said they will meet with CED#8 on Thursday, March 5, 2026, for final inspection of asphalt overlay projects. The board adjourned at 9:38 a.m.
