Kingfisher County commissioners approve equipment transfer, bridge plan, appointments and routine claims

At its Jan. 12 meeting the Kingfisher County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine but operationally important items, including equipment transfers, infrastructure paperwork, officer designations, and a long list of purchase orders and monthly reports.
Commissioner Anthony Schwarz moved and Commissioner Jeff Moss seconded approval to transfer a 2010 Ford pickup (EM-301-0001, Serial# 1FTFX1EV4AKE05316) from Emergency Management to the Big Four Fire Department; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved the Bridge Plan Title Sheet for Bridge #147 in District 3 and voted to have Commissioner Jeff Moss remain as Kingfisher County’s representative to the NODA Board of Trustees.
The board approved a public service/access drive for Tess White on N 2950 Rd in District 1 with a 24x20 culvert. Commissioners also approved the minutes of Jan. 5, the Jan. 12 agenda, and numerous purchase orders, warrants and payroll items spanning FY24-25 and FY25-26 across multiple funds (general, highway, capital outlay, 911, health, sheriff, extension, jail, library and sales tax funds). Monthly reports for the Treasurer, Election Board, Sheriff Department and Court Clerk were accepted, and the Sheriff’s annual jail report was approved. Personnel/administrative motions included adding Chris Pribyl (requisitioning officer) and Levi Copeland (receiving officer) for Hennessey Fire Dept., removing and adding several requisitioning officers for county offices, and approving appropriations and transfers for December 2025. The board announced the Tax Roll & Excise Board would meet Jan. 14 and scheduled the next commissioners meeting for Jan. 20; the meeting adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
The minutes list detailed vendor payments and claim amounts read into the record; the clerk indicated records and supporting documentation are available in the County Clerk’s Office for public inspection.
