Kingfisher County commissioners approve claims, OK $6,500 ODOT ROW payment and table six-month road bid

Kingfisher County commissioners approved a slate of purchase orders and warrants and took three formal actions during their Dec. 1, 2025 meeting.
Chairman Anthony Schwarz and Commissioners Jeff Moss and Mike Sparks voted unanimously to approve the claims and purchase orders presented by the county clerk, including a FY 24–25 ARPA line item allocating $20,680 to RPC operations. The clerk compiled payments across funds for utilities, vendors, highway suppliers and other county obligations that the board approved as presented.
Commissioner Mike Sparks moved to approve an Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) claim invoice for $6,500 related to Project E 715 Road over Turkey Creek (J/P 29362(04)) for right-of-way acquisition; Commissioner Jeff Moss seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously. The payment was recorded in the meeting minutes as authorized by the board.
On a separate procurement matter, Commissioner Jeff Moss moved and Commissioner Mike Sparks seconded a motion to table Bid# 7-25-26 — the six-month bid list for road and bridge materials and commercial roadway work for all county districts — while a bid tabulation is completed; the board voted to table the item and anticipate awarding bids the following week.
The board also approved the minutes of the Nov. 17, 2025 regular meeting and payroll for Nov. 24, 2025 covering FY 24–25 and FY 25–26, again by unanimous vote. No new business or board announcements were recorded, and the meeting adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
