Greer County commissioners approve agreements, warranty deed and routine payments

The Greer County Board of Commissioners voted on a series of routine and administrative items at its Nov. 10, 2025 meeting, approving agreements, a property deed and multiple payments.
Commissioner Steven Fite moved to approve the minutes from the Nov. 3 regular meeting; Brent York seconded and the motion carried (York—aye; Barnes—absent; Fite—aye). Following that procedural item, the board approved the Central Oklahoma Workforce Development Area Board of Chief Local Elected Officials Agreement and an Opioid Beneficial Interest Indenture. Both motions were made by Fite and seconded by York and passed with Barnes absent.
The board also authorized the signing of a warranty deed between Greer County and the Greer County Industrial Trust Authority Board regarding the Armory, approved letting for six‑month bids, and approved the Bank of America P‑Card payment for October 2025 in the amount of $1,409.32. Commissioners approved purchase orders for payment and reimbursement of claims; the minutes record a number of vendor and blanket PO entries across departments, including a diesel fuel charge to Glenn Oil Company for $18,170.68 and multiple ODOT line items (full vendor list and amounts are in the minutes).
All recorded motions in this set of items were moved by Steven Fite and seconded by Brent York; votes were recorded as York—aye; Barnes—absent; Fite—aye. The minutes show no further debate on these items and no amendments to the motions.
The minutes also note that there was no action taken on a proposed 80‑bed Law Enforcement Center and that the board did not meet with Greer County Sheriff Steve McMahan on this date; those items were not advanced by motion or vote.
