The Grant County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 9 approved routine fiscal items including purchase orders and travel claims across county departments, a proclamation declaring Feb. 9–13, 2026 as Farm Bureau Week, and the January 2026 Bank of America p-card statement totaling $2,930.37. The board also acknowledged a tax refund to White Cliffs Pipeline LLC of $57,174 following a tax-roll correction.
Several other items on the agenda were noted but received no action: information on General Zoning and renewable-energy (solar, wind and BESS) ordinances, the Catapult Health Clinic item, OPEH&W special assessment payments, and the Grant County Jail inspection (to be rescheduled). The board approved minutes from its Feb. 5, 2026 meeting.
Motions were moved and seconded by Vice-Chair Keith McClure and Commissioner Craig Fredrick and carried in each recorded instance. The minutes list a wide range of purchase orders and vendor payments across departments but do not expand on the substance of individual claims.
