Grant County commissioners hear highway district updates; REAP grant closeout work to continue

During district reports, Keith McClure said District 1 was hauling rock and shale, grading, and mowing. Steve Stinson reported that District 3 is working on a project between County Road 850 and County Road 860 on Grant Road, laying about one mile of rock and shale to improve a school bus route and that District 3 will start a project on Ellis Road. Craig Fredrick reported District 2 is working on shorter rock projects, grading and mowing, and that District 2 is gathering documentation needed to close out a REAP grant received in fiscal year 2024–2025; he said he would follow up and report back to the board on available assistance with the paperwork and the FY 2025–2026 application process.
The commissioners recorded the operational updates and adjourned at 9:29 a.m. McCaleb attested the meeting minutes; the minutes were approved as noted in the record.
