After returning to open session, Commissioner Paul Grider moved to rescind the offer previously made to Mr. Gowen Hays. Commissioner Roy Lee Criswell seconded the motion, and the vote was unanimous: Commissioners Dennis Lopez, Rodney Savage, Tina Dixon, Roy Lee Criswell and Paul Grider all voted yes.
Immediately afterward, Commissioner Grider moved to extend an offer for the County Manager position to Ms. Annette Kirk; Commissioner Criswell seconded. That motion also passed unanimously with the same five commissioners voting yes.
Commissioner Grider then moved to adjourn the special meeting at 3:57 p.m.; Commissioner Criswell seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Nathalia Baca, chief deputy clerk, attested the minutes.
