Commissioner Dennis Lopez said the single evening meeting had not been effective in increasing participation; Commissioners Dixon and Criswell noted that the prior change to evening meetings had been made for a one-year period and Criswell said he did not want to reverse that commitment before the year elapsed. Commissioner Rodney Savage urged Grider to rescind the motion. After discussion, Grider rescinded his motion and the commission took no action to change meeting times.
