County kicks off Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project; commissioners approve routine contracts, appointments and invoices

Fulton County commissioners on Nov. 25 held a CDBG project kickoff via Zoom to discuss the Warfordsburg Senior Center project with SEDA‑Cog Program Analyst Hanorah Lucas, Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville, and Connie Brode, executive director for Huntingdon/Bedford/Fulton Area on Aging.
During the same meeting the board recorded a bid opening for the sale of 119 North Second Street, McConnellsburg, PA; no bids were presented. Commissioners took no further action on the property sale during the session.
The board also approved several administrative actions and routine contracts and payments: conservation district reappointment letters for Gene Mellott and Mark Knepper were executed; an amended Title IV‑D Attorney Contract for Domestic Relations was approved; EPayment Now dog licenses ($2,363.50), a William Penn Printing invoice ($4,487.70), an Elect IT Solutions invoice for December staffing/support ($9,854.00), and a HART license/support invoice ($11,815.00) were authorized. Commissioners additionally approved and executed a letter appointing Marty Mettille as Fulton County’s advisor for America250PA events.
All motions recorded in the minutes passed unanimously. The minutes do not include details of bid procedures beyond noting no bids were received or the full text of the Title IV‑D contract amendment.
