Fulton County approves payables, veteran burial expense, technology invoices and accepts real-estate agent for county property

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners handled a series of routine but substantive actions at its Jan. 13 meeting, approving accounts payable, vendor invoices and a county real estate listing.
The board approved accounts payable dated Jan. 13, 2026, totaling $135,622.38, with $66,644.09 charged to the General Fund and additional amounts allocated to funds 227, 238, 256 and 300. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the payables; the motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner motions also authorized payment of a CCAP PCoRP invoice (second installment) for $45,442 and the SAP&DC invoice for local transportation support in the amount of $8,598. The board approved a renewal quote for ASPIRE two-factor authentication as submitted by Rick Grissinger, Elect IT.
The board approved an Application for Burial Expenses for veteran Floyd G. McGinnis (U.S. Air Force, 1964–1968) with payment to surviving spouse Janet McGinnis. Commissioners also approved a revision to the LERTA application to read "Inspection by Zoning Officer or Fulton County Planning." Commissioner Hann moved to notify organizations to apply for hotel/motel tax funding once the county receives the fourth-quarter payment.
The board accepted Ronald Richards as the real estate agent for the property located at 119 N. 2nd Street, McConnellsburg, at a 3% commission. Commissioner Bunch moved the acceptance; the motion carried. The meeting included multiple executive sessions for personnel and legal matters; the board adjourned at 11:33 a.m.
