Fulton County commissioners approve park lease, engineering contract, purchases and table contract with Pressley Ridge

Fulton County commissioners on Feb. 17 approved a series of administrative contracts, purchases and a park lease, and they tabled a proposed contract for services for children.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a McConnell Park lease submitted by the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism for the Strawberry Festival scheduled June 11–13, 2026; the motion passed with an "All in favor" voice vote. At the same meeting the board approved a contract with CES Engineering, LLC for engineering services at the Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project not to exceed $15,000, and retroactively authorized Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives to sign a CDBG Exempt Status Determination and Mitigation Measures and Conditions Form.
On procurement matters, Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve a request from Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress to purchase new office furniture from W.B. Mason for the Domestic Relations Department, to be funded by the Title IV‑D Incentive Account in the amount of $6,467.15; the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve and execute an invoice from Wessel & Company for CFO services for January 2026 in the amount of $4,340.00; that motion also passed unanimously.
Commissioner Wible moved to table a contract between Pressley Ridge and Fulton County for services for children until the county gathers additional information; the board voted to table the contract.
The board recorded two executive sessions during the meeting: a personnel session from 8:33 a.m. to 8:59 a.m., and a legal session entered at 9:22 a.m. and exited at 10:21 a.m. The meeting was adjourned at 11:22 a.m. by motion of Commissioner Bunch.
