The Buffalo County Board of Equalization met Feb. 8, 2022 in Kearney and approved tax-list corrections and two motor vehicle tax-exemption renewals.
Deputy County Assessor Nora Borer presented tax-list corrections (numbers 4855–4856) to the Board; Commissioner Ronald Loeffelholz moved and Commissioner Sherry Morrow seconded approval. The Board approved the corrections by roll call vote.
County Treasurer Jean Sidwell presented motor vehicle tax-exemption renewal applications. The Board approved a renewal for a 2015 Ford owned by the Evangelical Free Church of Kearney and a renewal for a 2016 Chrysler minivan for Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska; both motions passed unanimously among members present.
The Board of Equalization adjourned and the Board of Commissioners returned to regular session at 9:34 a.m.
