The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 10 approved a new Class C retail liquor license and manager’s application for Casey’s Retail Company (Casey’s 4303) at 5785 Buffalo Creek Road in Elm Creek.
Chairperson Ivan H. Klein opened a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. and Amber Roeder, Casey’s district manager, appeared to answer questions. No members of the public addressed the board. After review of the Buffalo County Sheriff’s office report, Commissioners Ronald Loeffelholz and Myron Kouba moved and seconded to approve the license and manager’s application; the motion passed by unanimous roll call of members present (Commissioner Sherry Morrow absent).
The county clerk’s file includes the application, the sheriff’s report and the manager’s form; those documents are retained as part of the public record. The license approval is subject to the standard local licensing ordinances and the conditions reflected in the sheriff’s report and manager’s application.
The board resumed other business after a short break at 9:35 a.m.
