Roosevelt County approves lease with Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico for Portales pantry

Roosevelt County commissioners on April 1 approved an equipment and premises lease and services agreement with the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico to support operations of the Portales pantry.
Dianna Sprague, the Food Bank’s executive director, told the commission the Food Bank has moved into the Portales pantry at 600 N Avenue K and needs a lease with the county to provide insurance coverage for the site. The commission voted unanimously to approve the lease.
The agreement was presented as part of the meeting’s contracts and procurements agenda. Commissioners did not propose changes to the agreement during the discussion.
