Commissioner Fabian Munoz moved to appoint Forget, Commissioner Paul Grider seconded, and the five commissioners voted yes.
The commission entered executive session at 6:41 p.m. for items listed on the agenda; the candidate was called into the closed session at 6:54 p.m. When the board returned to open session at 7:17 p.m., Commission Chair Tina Dixon said “only those items listed on the agenda were discussed in executive session,” and the panel proceeded with the appointment and contract approval.
The action followed a public business meeting that included routine reports and other agenda items. The commission adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
