Board approves grants, resolutions, construction acceptances and PPA adjustment; motions largely unanimous

Those motions passed on the record with all five members voting yes.
On business services items, the Board adopted Resolution R2025‑2026/22 establishing the GANN limit for appropriations and certified the 2024–25 Unaudited Actuals financial statement. The Board approved joining the Super USDA Foods Cooperative for Nutrition Services.
The Board also approved final deductive change orders and accepted completion for two capital projects: the Transportation Yard Fleet Fuel System Closure‑In‑Place Project (CB2025‑04) and the La Costa Canyon High School Gymnasium and Performing Arts Center Roof Replacement Project (CB2025‑05). Motions to accept and authorize final payments were carried unanimously.
In energy contracting, the Board authorized adjustments to the Power Purchase Agreement with Forefront Power (CB2022‑08) to reflect additional work at San Dieguito High School Academy and approved a revised PPA rate of $0.2918 per kWh (motion by Trustee Phan Anderson, second by Trustee Rimga Viskanta). The meeting record lists motions and final resolutions as carried and records attending trustees as voting yes: Jodie Williams, Rimga Viskanta, Jane Lea Smith, Michael Allman and Phan Anderson.
Several personnel and routine consent items were approved as part of the consent agenda, and the Board extended the meeting schedule to continue discussion on district policy items. The meeting adjourned at 11:07 PM.
