At the Dec. 11 San Dieguito Union High School District Board meeting trustees completed annual organizational business and approved multiple personnel actions.
During item 10B the Board nominated and voted for officers for 2026. Trustee Jane Lea Smith was elected Board President (yes votes: Jodie Williams, Jane Lea Smith, Rimga Viskanta; no votes: Michael Allman, Phan Anderson). Rimga Viskanta was elected Vice President on the same 3‑2 pattern. Trustee Jodie Williams was appointed Clerk by unanimous vote. The Board then appointed Dr. Anne L. Staffieri, Superintendent, as Secretary to the Board.
On human-resources actions the Board approved classified and certificated personnel listings and adopted updated salary schedules for management, supervisory and confidential employees along with the AB 1200 financial disclosure. The Board also approved amendments to employment agreements for: - Stephen Dickinson, Associate Superintendent of Business Services; - Bryan Marcus, Associate Superintendent of Educational Services; - Mary Anne Nuskin, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources.
Why it matters: Board leadership and senior-staff employment terms shape governance, continuity of district administration and oversight of day‑to‑day operations. Approval of salary schedules and AB 1200 disclosures aligns with statutory financial transparency requirements.
Next steps: Staff will implement the approved salary schedules and finalize contract amendment documents; Board assignments to liaison committees will proceed per the approved roster.
