The Clarke County Board of Supervisors set a public hearing for March 30, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. to consider the Proposed Property Tax Levy for fiscal year 2026/27 and unanimously approved payment of county claims submitted Feb. 19–23, 2026.
Chairman Randy Dunbar called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and confirmed the presence of supervisors Randy Dunbar, Dean Robins and Brian Sorensen and Auditor Jessica Graves. Dean Robins moved to approve the meeting agenda; Brian Sorensen seconded and the motion passed with all ayes.
On Resolution 26-029, Supervisor Brian Sorensen moved and Supervisor Dean Robins seconded a motion to set March 30, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. as the date and time for a public hearing on the proposed property tax levy for fiscal year 2026/27. The board voted: Randy Dunbar — Aye; Dean Robins — Aye; Brian Sorensen — Aye. The resolution was signed the same day.
On Resolution 26-030, Supervisor Dean Robins moved and Supervisor Brian Sorensen seconded a motion to approve payment of claims submitted from Feb. 19 through Feb. 23, 2026. The board voted unanimously in favor (Ayes: Dunbar, Robins, Sorensen); the resolution was signed the same day.
The meeting record lists fund totals included in the claims approval: General Basic Fund (0001) $27,041.08; General Supplement Fund (0002) $51.98; Secondary Road Fund (0020) $18,382.65; Drug Dog Fund (0030) $1,967.25; Assessor (4100) $912.52. Those totals were entered into the minutes as part of the claims approval.
With no further business, Supervisor Brian Sorensen moved to adjourn; Dean Robins seconded and the meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m. Chairman Randy Dunbar and Auditor Jessica Graves signed the record.
