Beaverton City Manager updates Gladwin commissioners on Ross Lake Park splash‑pad building and water projects

Sirpilla said the city hired two new public works employees and is moving forward on a water main and water tower replacement project. She described a new building at Ross Lake Park — funded in part by a grant — that will provide permanent restrooms and changing rooms for the park’s splash pad; until now the site relied on portable toilets. Sirpilla said the pavilion will have doors that can be closed in inclement weather and acknowledged the building "may not be the most beautiful, it was the most they could get with the grant money that was received."
