Gladwin County selects Guided Moments LLC to run events at Recreational Area, tables branding

Commissioner Alan Donaldson, joined by Dayna Fennell of Guided Moments LLC, presented the Gladwin Recreational Area Management Plan and described Guided Moments as the only local onsite proposer. The board approved moving forward with Guided Moments LLC and asked that all recreational-area revenues and monthly financial reports be processed through the County Treasurer's office.
The board tabled a separate decision on branding; Burch Branding had provided a quote to handle branding for 120 days and would have worked with Guided Moments if chosen. Commissioners also adopted a fee schedule for the facility, correcting the nonprofit meeting fee to $25.
Commissioner discussion emphasized local operations and financial transparency. The board recorded a unanimous vote to proceed with Guided Moments LLC and requested monthly financial oversight from county staff before additional operational steps proceed.
