Chairman Albert F. Turner presided over the meeting in the Albert Turner, Sr. Courthouse Annex. The resurfacing approval was moved by Vice Chairman Carlton Lewis and seconded by Commissioner Barbara Howze; the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved a memorandum of understanding with the Town of Uniontown on Cedar Bluff Road after a motion by Commissioner Carlton Lewis and a second by Commissioner Barbara Howze.
Under clerk business, the commission approved a resolution related to the Revenue Commissioner and authorized advertising for a Personal Property Technician position to be filled publicly. The commission also approved in-house and public advertising for a Mapping Support position.
After returning from executive session and accepting the county attorney’s recommendation, the commission approved payment of claims and adjourned. The minutes do not specify details of the attorney’s recommendation or the subject matter discussed during the executive session.
