Commissioners approve Elect IT contract addenda and TelePlus maintenance plan

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 9 approved multiple information-technology and security-related contracts, including Elect IT contract addenda for 2026 and an extended TelePlus maintenance plan.
Nelson Witmer, President/CEO of Elect IT Solutions, presented Addendum A (IT staffing and support services), Addendum B (managed backup services) and Addendum C (IT/cybersecurity awareness and phishing simulations). Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the three addenda, and the motion carried unanimously.
Separately, the board approved a TelePlus Protection System Extended Service Agreement (Silver Maintenance Coverage) for $14,040.56, effective Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026; Commissioner Hann moved the approval. The minutes record that the agreement will be paid as presented but do not break down services or response-time guarantees in the text.
County officials recorded these approvals on the consent agenda; staff will proceed with contract execution and scheduled service start dates in early 2026.
