Fulton County commissioners approve routine minutes, payroll and a change to the travel policy

At the Dec. 23 meeting, Fulton County commissioners finalized routine administrative business including approval of prior minutes, payroll and a revision to the HR manual.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve the Dec. 16, 2025 Commissioners' Meeting minutes and the Dec. 16, 2025 Retirement Board minutes; both motions were recorded as approved. The board recorded fund totals across county funds at $111,824.17 and approved payroll dated Dec. 26, 2025 in the amount of $145,032.44 after a motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann.
Commissioners also approved a revision to Section 213, 'Travel,' of the HR Manual. The amended language requires any employee who wishes to use a personal vehicle for county business to submit a request to the commissioners ahead of time explaining why they are requesting the use of their vehicle. The motion passed unanimously.
