Commissioners approve payables, vendor invoices, hire, burial payment and hire real estate agent for county property

At their Jan. 13 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved routine administrative business including accounts payable, vendor invoices, a personnel hire, a veteran burial expense, and selection of a real estate agent to market county property.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve accounts payable dated Jan. 13, 2026 totaling $135,622.38, which included $66,644.09 charged to the General Fund and $64,720.44 to Capital Projects. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the CCAP PCoRP invoice (second installment) for $45,442.00; Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve the SAP&DC invoice for $8,598.00. The board also approved a renewal quote for ASPIRE two-factor authentication submitted by Rick Grissinger.
Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress requested authority to fill a vacant Enforcement Officer 1 position. Commissioner Bunch moved to hire Angie Horton for the Enforcement Officer 1 union position, effective Jan. 26, 2026; the Salary Board met briefly and set the salary per the collective bargaining agreement (separate minutes are on file).
The board approved an Application for Burial Expenses for veteran Floyd G. McGinnis (U.S. Air Force, 1964–1968), authorizing payment to surviving spouse Janet McGinnis. After a final executive session, the commissioners accepted Ronald Richards as the real estate agent for the county property at 119 N. 2nd Street, McConnellsburg, PA, at a 3% commission on the sale.
