Fulton County Commissioners approve festival lease, engineering contract, purchases and table a services contract

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a McConnell Park lease submitted by the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism for the Strawberry Festival scheduled June 11–13, 2026; the motion was recorded as approved with "all in favor." Commissioner Hann also moved to approve a contract with CES Engineering, LLC, for engineering services at the Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project not to exceed $15,000; the board approved that contract.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to retroactively approve Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives' signature on a CDBG Exempt Status Determination and Mitigation Measures and Conditions Form; the board approved the retroactive authorization. Later in the meeting, Commissioner Bunch moved to approve Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress' request to buy new office furniture from W.B. Mason for $6,467.15, to be funded by the Title IV-D Incentive Account; the board approved the purchase.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve and execute an invoice from Wessel & Company for CFO services for January 2026 in the amount of $4,340.00; the board approved payment. Commissioner Wible also moved to table a contract between Pressley Ridge and Fulton County for services for children until more information is gathered; the board voted to table that contract. The meeting included two executive sessions (personnel and legal); no formal outcomes from executive sessions were recorded in open minutes. The meeting adjourned at 11:22 a.m.
