Commission approves pipe contracts, amends groundskeeping award and declares surplus equipment for auction

Jonathan Gaddy, representing county administration, presented multiple procurement and asset items at the Feb. 12 meeting that the commission approved unanimously.
The commission awarded the Highway Departments aluminized pipe bid to Fallin Farms dba Harvey Culvert and the concrete pipe bid to Wells and Wells LLC after Gaddys presentations; both resolutions passed by voice vote following motions from Commissioner Henderson. Gaddy also presented a resolution amending a groundskeeping bid to set the correct monthly award for facilities 33A'3G at $565.00; commissioners adopted the amendment unanimously.
The commission extended the soft drink contract at the county Sports Complex with Coca-Cola through April 9, 2027 and approved new pricing submitted by the vendor effective Jan. 1, 2026. Finally, commissioners declared several Highway Department vehicles and tractors as surplus property to be sold at auction and authorized the county to enter an agreement with JM Wood Auction Company to conduct auctions of surplus equipment.
All procurement and surplus resolutions were approved by unanimous voice vote; minutes note the relevant resolutions and agreements are on file.
