Buffalo County approves minor subdivision in Antelope Park Estates (Resolution 2023-01)

The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners voted Jan. 10 to approve a minor subdivision application affecting Antelope Park Estates in Buffalo County.
Zoning Administrator Dennise Daniels presented the application; licensed land surveyor Mitch Humphrey appeared on behalf of property owners Jason Potter and Riley Potter. The application proposes dividing Lot Seven, Block Two, into two tracts referred to as the West Tract and the East Tract and combining the West 195.16 feet of Lot Seven with Lot Two and combining the remaining portion of Lot Seven with Lot One as described in the survey. The board held a public hearing and found the proposal complies with the county’s Subdivision Resolution requirements for minor subdivisions (Section 3.20) and that no public utilities occupy the proposed lot lines.
On a motion by Commissioner Ronald Loeffelholz, seconded by Commissioner Timothy Higgins, the board adopted Resolution 2023-01 authorizing county zoning officials to sign and file the survey with the Register of Deeds to effect the subdivision change. The roll-call vote was Aye: Loeffelholz, Higgins, Kouba, Lynch, Maendele, Morrow and Klein; motion carried.
Resolution 2023-01 directs the Chair and county zoning officials to sign and file the survey and resolution, which will be recorded with the Register of Deeds to make the minor subdivision effective.
