Board of Equalization approves multiple motor-vehicle tax exemptions; one abstention recorded

The Buffalo County Board of Equalization, convened Dec. 10, approved multiple motor-vehicle tax-exemption renewals and a tax-corrections list.
County Treasurer Brenda Rohrich presented applications. The board approved a Motor Vehicle Tax Exemption renewal for New Life Assembly (2017 Ram 2500 ST) and for the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society (2014 Ford Fusion). The board approved renewal for RYDE Transit — Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska (a 2022 Jeep Renegade and a 2024 Chevy Silverado); the minutes record Commissioner Myron Kouba abstaining on that motion. The board also approved exemptions for Crane River Theater Company (multiple trailers) and South Central Behavioral Services (two vehicles). The board approved Tax Corrections list 5063–5064.
All actions were recorded by roll call; the board adjourned the Board of Equalization and returned to the regular commissioners' meeting.
