The application was filed by Craig Bennett of Miller & Associates Consulting Engineers on behalf of Mark H. Meyer, C. Jayne Meyer and manager Loren Bakko of Bakko Land, L.L.C. County staff and the applicants were present; residents spoke both in favor (Mark Meyer, Barbara Buchholz) and in opposition (Scott Fitzke, Jerry Muhlbach, Rob Talon, Shawn Cudaback, Joseph and Elizabeth Terzi, Rylee Fish and John Gibbens). After public testimony the Board voted to recess the hearing until Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, to allow additional review.
The meeting minutes record that the hearing was paused at 10:14 A.M. and the motion to recess carried unanimously. The Board did not make a final zoning determination at the Dec. 23 session.
