Board accepts annual audit and reappoints veterans committee member
Summary
Buffalo County accepted the Hayes and Associates FY2022-23 audit, reappointed Robert Harpst to the Veterans Service Committee, and approved a contract update for Schneider Geospatial.
During the June 25 meeting the Buffalo County Board accepted the Annual Audit for fiscal year 2022–23 and completed several personnel and contract actions.
Austin Hayes of Hayes and Associates appeared via Zoom to present the audit report. Following discussion, the board moved (Maendele/Kouba) to accept the Annual Audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023; the motion passed by roll call with all members present voting Aye.
The board also reappointed Robert Harpst to the Veterans Service Committee for a five-year term ending June 30, 2029; the reappointment motion was moved by Myron Kouba and seconded by Ronald Loeffelholz and approved by roll call. Additionally, contract updates for Schneider Geospatial were approved.
These measures were recorded in the minutes and will be reflected in the county’s official files.
