Fulton County commissioners approve $205,405 in payments, contracts and grant actions

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved $205,405.27 in accounts payable and a series of routine contracts and invoices at their Feb. 24 meeting at the Commissioners' Office.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the accounts payable dated Feb. 24, 2026, which the minutes list by fund, including $118,593.19 to the General Fund and line items for Liquid Fuels, SFC Technology Grant, SFC Evidence Based Practice, CDBG, Act 13 Marcellus Shale Recreational, Medical Assistance Transportation and Debt Service. The motion passed unanimously.
The board approved a Purchase of Service Agreement with Pressley Ridge for child welfare services, effective Feb. 11, 2026 through June 30, 2026, on a motion by Commissioner Randy H. Bunch. Commissioners also approved an Elect IT Solutions invoice for $10,198.00 for March 2026 and a CCAP PComp third-installment payment of $5,575.00 (part of a $22,300.00 total contribution), both on motions by Commissioner Steven L. Wible.
Commissioners voted to approve and execute a Huntingdon County invoice for the remainder of the NTIA Project contribution in the amount of $270,000.00, noting $90,000.00 had been previously paid. Commissioner Bunch made the motion and the board recorded unanimous approval.
The board also approved a 2026 Compensation Plan for the Services for Children director, Christine McQuade, to be submitted to the state, and authorized submission of the county's 'Report of County Fee for Local Use Funds' to PennDOT as presented by Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives. A Letter of Recommendation supporting MainStreet McConnellsburg's application for a T-Mobile Community Grant to modernize downtown street lighting was approved on a motion by Commissioner Hann.
Elections Director and Recycling Coordinator Linda Doyle presented a flyer for two electronics-and-appliances recycling days to be held March 18 (12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.) and March 21 (9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) at 610 East North Street, McConnellsburg; the board approved the event flyer.
All votes recorded in the minutes are described as 'All in favor.' The meeting adjourned at 11:15 a.m.
