The board voted by roll call 'Aye' (Morrow, Lynch, Higgins, Kouba, Loeffelholz, Maendele and Klein) to approve the resolution. Separately, the board accepted Community Action Partnership of Mid‑Nebraska’s November and December 2023 RYDE reports; that acceptance carried but Commissioner Kouba recorded an abstention.
The resolution and report acceptance signal county-level support for continued public-transport operations and for pursuing state and federal operating assistance; the county did not set new dollar commitments during the meeting.
