Buffalo County sets Jan. 13 bid date for bridge replacement, approves road improvement contract

The motion to set the bid date was moved by Bill Maendele and seconded by Ivan Klein and carried by roll call vote.
The board also approved a road improvement contract for work at 340th and Navaho Roads and authorized Chairperson Sherry Morrow to sign the contract. That motion was moved by Daniel Lynch and seconded by Timothy Higgins and carried by roll call vote. Highway Superintendent John Maul was present for the road items.
The minutes list the project number and structure number for the bridge replacement and record authorization to advertise bids; the minutes do not include engineering estimates, contractor names, or contract dollar amounts.
