Fulton County commissioners approved hiring Amanda Sheffield as a Caseworker II in the Services for Children Department during their Jan. 27 meeting.
Services for Children Director Christine McQuade and HR Administrator Mary Huston presented the request. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to hire Sheffield pending completion of required background clearances and personnel paperwork; the motion carried unanimously. The board convened a separate Salary Board meeting at 11:00 a.m. to record the appointment; those minutes are filed separately.
The hire was approved contingent upon standard clearance procedures. The minutes indicate no recorded objections; the county noted separate personnel documentation will be maintained in Salary Board records.
