Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute the engagement letter from KB&S — Kulla, Barkdoll & Stewart, P.C., "to provide professional legal and consulting services related to a review of the Fulton County Prothonotary's Office." The motion carried unanimously.
The board had multiple personnel discussions. After morning executive sessions for legal and personnel matters, the commissioners, HR Administrator Mary Huston and Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives conducted interviews for the Prothonotary's Office in the afternoon.
The engagement letter approval was presented during open business and recorded by motion; separate minutes are on file for the tax appeal hearing that took place earlier in the morning, during which Commissioner Steven L. Wible abstained due to a stated conflict of interest.
