Fulton County commissioners approve $205,405 in payables, contracts and community grants

Fulton County commissioners approved routine financial and administrative measures at their Feb. 24 meeting, including $205,405.27 in county payables and several contract and grant-related items.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve account payables dated Feb. 24, 2026, totaling $205,405.27, which the board approved. The county recorded a $118,593.19 allocation to the General Fund and smaller amounts to Liquid Fuels, SFC grant funds, CDBG, an Act 13 Marcellus Shale recreational fund, Medical Assistance Transportation and Debt Service.
The panel also approved a March 2026 invoice from Elect IT Solutions for IT staffing and support in the amount of $10,198.00 and a CCAP PComp third-installment payment of $5,575.00 toward a total contribution of $22,300.00. Commissioners approved a Purchase of Service Agreement with Pressley Ridge for child welfare services, effective Feb. 11 through June 30, 2026.
Commissioners approved a $270,000.00 invoice from Huntingdon County for the remainder of a National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) project contribution (the meeting record notes $90,000.00 had been paid previously) and authorized submission of a “Report of County Fee for Local Use Funds” to PennDOT as presented by Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives.
Elections Director and Recycling Coordinator Linda Doyle presented a flyer for Electronics and Appliances Recycling Days set for March 18 (noon–5:00 p.m.) and March 21 (9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) at 610 East North Street in McConnellsburg; the board approved the event. The commissioners also approved a 2026 Compensation Plan to be submitted to the state by Services for Children Director Christine McQuade.
All recorded motions were announced on the record as carried with all members in favor. The meeting adjourned at 11:15 a.m.
