Buffalo County ratifies payroll, approves facilities change order and holiday closure

At its Nov. 10 meeting the Buffalo County Board of Commissioners ratified payroll processed on Oct. 31, acknowledged the Treasurer's October Fund Balance Report and the Clerk of the District Court's October report, and accepted the Treasurer's Distress Warrant report.
The Board approved closing the Courthouse at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025 and reopening on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for the Christmas holiday. Facilities Director Stephen Gaasch reported on county construction projects and the Board approved Change Order Request #1 for the 321 Building Canopy project in the amount of $29,000.
During Citizen's Forum, Veterans Committee Chairperson Tom McCoy shared highlights of the Veterans Day Parade. Chairperson Morrow adjourned the meeting at 10:04 a.m.
