BUFFALO COUNTY, Neb. — The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 28 approved an interlocal government agreement with Hall County to replace an old structure on Wiseman Road with a concrete box, authorizing the Board Chair to sign the agreement.
The motion, made by Commissioner Bill Maendele and carried on roll call, approves Hall County Project No. C10 (1416) covering the structure located on the Hall/Buffalo county line on Wiseman Road north of 70th Road, near the intersection with 85th Street. Resolution 2025‑66, entered into the record, states the interlocal agreement addresses construction, shared expenses, supervision, maintenance and related responsibilities.
Highway Superintendent John Maul was present during the discussion; the minutes indicate Superintendent Maul will be involved in review/implementation steps tied to the project. The Board authorized Chairperson Sherry L. Morrow to sign the interlocal agreement on behalf of Buffalo County. The motion carried with the members present voting aye and Commissioner Daniel Lynch recorded absent.
